Most people who try to lose belly fat go about it either by doing typical ab exercises like crunches and sit-ups or they go about it by doing fat burning cardio exercises.

The problem with crunches and sit-ups is that they don’t really address the fat over the muscles and the tension from these exercises is only concentric. The problem with the typical cardio exercises is that most people are doing the wrong ones that give you minimal results from hours and hours of exercising.

Isometric vacuum poses help to reduce your waist size because of the isometric tension in the exercise. What they are is a form of sucking in your stomach and holding the tension and pose for a period of time… usually above 15 seconds.

So lets try it out right now. Get up and suck in your belly… the lower belly part around your belly button. So inhale with a big breath and do that. Then just hold it for however long you feel comfortable with. Try for a minimum of 15 seconds. Ok, let out a big exhale.

Do this for no less than 5 minutes a day. If you’re busy, you can do these during tv commercials for a minute or 2 each time. By the end of the day, just make sure you’ve completed all 5 minutes.
